Style Spotlight: Nicole Richie, Taraji Henson, Halle Berry & more...
Wow! The past weekend was definitely a very fashionable one. Celebs every where were taking advantage of the sunshine and sporting their most stylish fits while enjoying the sun. Many stars were spotted in Palm Springs, CA at the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
The weather was perfect, and reports suggest that this event was a huge success....Kudos to all who attended! Below are some pics of my favorites celebrity weekend looks. You be the stylist, which looks are you most fond of?
Kandi Burress (with her mom Joyce) in Atlanta in attendance at Kim Zoliak's baby shower. Kandi looks stunning! Go girl!
Here's Rhi Rhi at a Coachella concert. She was dressed properly for the occasion, trendy & comfy. BTW, I love her red curls! Big hair is sexy and Rhianna is rocking it!
Nicole Richie was spotted at a Coachella BBQ in Palm Springs looking very Boho Chic. Cute!
Model Chanel Iman was also enjoying the Coachella festivities. She looks very youthful and cute in this romantic style mini. Adding the straw hat keeps this look fun and perfect for an outdoor festival.
Last but not least, Halle Berry, who was at the Beverly Hills Hotel being honored at Silver Rose Awards looked very pretty in pink. Halle might not have it all when it comes to "babymama etiquette" (lol...sorry but I had to) however, I won't hold that against here because she for sure has style and looked quite chic in this gorgeous dress. Nice job Ms. Berry!
There were also other celeb guest in attendance in Beverly Hills to offer their support to friend Halle. Some of those who were in attendance included: Taraji Henson (pictured above), Christina Milian (pictured above), Tatyana Ali & Robin Thicke. Both Taraji and Christina look great. I love the purple shade of Christina's dress, the cut is also very flattering on her.

Breaking All of the Rules

One trend that I could not wait to try for spring is color blocking. Since bold colors are perfect for spring why not mix a few vibrant hues to create a daring look. Since this was my frist attempt at trying this trend I kept it simple with two main colors but I plan to add more the next time I try this look.
Also to create balance, I chose neutral tone shoes and bag.

Rate Her Style: Vivica A. Fox

What do you think of Vivica's look while photographed at Vault in Miami Beach, FL?
I'm not quite sure about this one Viv. I do like each of her pieces individually but as an ensemble it's a bit of an overload in my opinion. Since this top is ultra glam, I would have suggested that she allowed it to be the focal point and toned down the shoes. I think the fuchsia wedges are sexy and chic (they would look perfect with a floral print dress) but they are too overpowering here and really take away from the top. A better choice would have been a nude wedges. .This is not the worse but it could be better.

Celebrity Style: Toni Braxton in All White
All white everything...this look can either be a hit or miss. I am a fan of white ensembles and this spring white is definitely a hot trend.
Toni was photoed on Sunday night in an all white dress and gray pumps at The London Hotel in West Hollywood.
The event was in celebration of Toni and her sisters new reality series premiere entitled "Braxton Family Values"
Toni gracefully pulls off this fitted mini well with a simple shimmery golden eye, opaque white nail polish and gray pumps. Gray pairs nicely with white for a chic and modern appeal.
